Kambakkt ishq- Surpasses singh is kingg

Akshay-Kumar-Tashan.jpgOpening weekends have become a recent box office phenomena where the producers recover their investment. Some of the biggies that have done good of late include Om Shanti Om, Ghajini, Welcome and Singh is Kinng. Joining this list is yet another Akshay Kumar starrer Kambakhht Ishq. Not only has it surpassed Singh is Kinng on its opening day, but it also crossed the one day milestone set by Ghajini in some centres.

According to the box office data, Kambakkht Ishq has grossed around Rs 24.50 crore nett including paid previews over its first weekend. And according to the industry analysts, this is the second biggest first day in history while the first weekend was the fourth biggest in history.

This is despite the fact that Mumbai rains kept many people away on Saturday and Sunday. Delhi/UP and East Punjab is where the collections happened to be truly phenomenal.

While the numbers have fallen over the weekdays, the film should be a hit if not a superhit. I have seen the film, and though it’s not in the same class as Welcome, it’s not a sorry film either. It’s okay-dokay. Not truly a laugh-a-thon. And yes, the Akshay-Kareena chemistry does work here unlike what I had assumed after looking at the film promos. Watch the film for both the stars who make the most of the role given to them. If not for them, the film by any other actor would have failed to draw anyone.

Who would have guessed that one could shoot most parts of a film in Philadelphia and call it New York?
A far cry from yesteryear's' films that used cardboard cut-outs for the
sun and the moon, the art of visual effects (vfx) has progressed by
leaps and bounds enabling filmmakers to use computer technology to save
on crucial time and money.

John Abraham, Katrina Kaif and Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer New York (NY) ,
which chronicles the tale of three youngsters before and after the 9\11

Katrina will be celebrating her birthday this year with her family, she says, “I’m celebrating my birthday this year with my entire family, all my sisters who have flown down from all over, my mum who’s flown down from Chennai and my brother who’s a professional rock climber.” Last year’s birthday for Katrina was a disaster because of the famous Khan fight. We hope this birthday for beautiful Katrina is eventful.Happy belated birthday Katrina.

Transformers: Revenge of the fallen movie review (2009)

Well as the name the specifies the the techie wheels got the capability of
transforming themselves some of the nifty of the weird shapes as
.
Now, coming back to the movie, what was that 's'crap? The typical archaic sequel storyline of there's something that was purposefully hidden from some of the characters in the first film and something apocalyptic at that. Now the whole world is running around crazy with robots who don't ever seem to run out of firepower (I never understood how a transformed washing machine could make insane numbers of bullets ). On the top of it, Sam's mother seems to have turned into a nympho. Oh gosh ! The whole storyline seems to be plotting to get a chance to show off new transformers with new tricks.
Morever, it's really awful to notice the big machine which comes in the end comes to raze which climbs over the pyramid to has got the capability to raze to raze over anything it can finds it's looks like a cheatcode game. Any how hats off good work done in making the visuals graphics nice sound quality
On the whole the movie was a Ok!!

The most awaited Insomniac release

Insomniac, appropriately titled name of the brand new album, from Pop/Latin singer Enrique Iglesias recently hit stores – and I know I’m usually really early with my reviews but I just heard this album and I really enjoyed it. Insomniac includes my absolute favorite song that’s pretty hot right now “Do You Know,” or “The Ping Pong Song” as they call it, the first single lifted from the album. The track was produced by the infamous Sean Garrett who has written and produced major hits for Ciara, Destiny’s Child, Fergie, Nelly, Usher… hell! He even did some material for Ms. Kelly recently. Aside from Sean’s amazing work, Stargate did some nice production on there as well. There’s not really that many appearances from other artists… just this really hard song entitled “Push” featuring rapper Lil’ Wayne! Overall the album isn’t so bad, a lot of club and trance joints, typically Enrique. The album recently dropped last month and is IN STORES NOW so go cop that!!! Watch “Do You Know”
