'Eat, Pray, Love' - Julia Roberts in Gurgaon for shoot

After enjoying a vacation here earlier this year the Oscar-winning-actress is back to shoot for her upcoming film 'Eat, Pray, Love', which is a Brad Pitt production.

The actress landed in the capital on Thursday morning along with her twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and two-year-old Henry accompanied by her entourage.

Roberts, along with the cast of the film which includes, Oscar-winner Javier Bardem, Billy Crudup and Richard Jenkins has reportedly checked into a five star hotel in Gurgaon.

The actress, whose production company Red Om recently signed a production deal with India's Reliance Big Entertainment, will stay in the country till the first week of October.

Shooting is expected to start soon at an ashram, near Gurgaon on the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway 8, while some scenes will be filmed at Pataudi Palace, about 60 kilometers from Delhi.

Roberts will play Elizabeth Gilbert who gave up on her pretty home near New York, a comfortable life and a husband when she realises that she is not happy with life.

Directed by Ryan Murphy, the film is based on the international bestseller memoir, 'Eat, Pray, Love'.

The film explores a divorced woman's journey in search of restoration of her body and soul--- and her quest for love.

The 41-year-old actress was last seen shooting in Italy for the film which is expected to hit theatres in 2011.

Lovemaking scene with Saif special to Kareena

 

There has been a lot of talk about the lovemaking scene between Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in the movie Kurban but for the first time Bebo has spoken about it. In a recent interview that Kareena said that the Rensil D'Silva directed movie is very special to her and every scene in the movie was very special to her as well. She added that the script required the scene and she had no qualms about shooting it with beau Saif Ali Khan.

On her ex beau Shahid Kapoor going great guns with the success of Kaminey, Kareena said that she loved Shahid's acting Kaminey and both she and Saif congratulated him for his performance in the movie. She was also in full praise of director Vishal Bhardwaj and felt happy that audience liked Kaminey which was an unconventional movie.

Heidi Klum says her 'thighs, butt' have exploded

Washington (ANI): Mum-to-be Heidi Klum believes the last month of pregnancy is the worst, as the body seems to explode. The German model is due to give birth to her fourth child in October.

"The last month is unbelievable, how rapidly your stomach goes. It's huge," Usmagazine quoted Klum as telling Page Six. "The thighs, the butt -- everything explodes in the end," she added.

The Victoria Secret’s beauty insists that she'll regain her pre-baby body after giving birth. "It's bizarre. Just as it's a miracle that you can grow a human being in your belly, it's a miracle that your body goes back to normal again," she said.
"I don't think you ever get back to exactly the way you were, but you do get close. And I'm happy with that. Especially when you see your kid for the first time," she added.

Preity’s Happening item in Main aur Mrs.Khanna

Preity Zinta is following Aishwarya Rai’s Kajra Re footsteps as she has put on the item girl tag for special friend Salman Khan  in his movie Main Aur Mrs Khanna.

    Preity says,“It’s an interesting cameo. The song’s called Happening and I agreed to do it because director Prem Soni is a friend. And since Salman has played Prem so often, let’s just say this one is for Prem.”

Katrina Kaif knocked out

Well not many can knock off Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif off her feet, but one boy got successful recently while she visited Houston for Indian Independence Day parade.

    Katrina confirms, ‘Yes I was knocked off my feet. And I did fall. And considering it was a 12-year-old boy half my size, it did kinda take me by surprise. But I didn’t mind at all. I guess it showed the force of his love for me.’

    ‘When you go for these fan interactions you can’t be finicky about people getting too close and not giving you space, etc etc. They do want to shake hands, get themselves clicked, sign papers. I love to mingle with them. And I did so to my heart’s content in Houston and Chicago. So what if some of them got over-excited? Shows how much they love me.’

The reason why ‘Veer’ is being seen as such a hot proposition is because its story is written by Salman himself. The movie, directed by Anil Sharma , is a period drama starring Salman, his brother Sohail Khan and Mithun Chakraborty . Salman’s leading lady in the movie would be a debutante, who, it is rumoured, looks almost like Katrina Kaif .

Sallu is creating history by getting this amount. The offer for this amount comes from a top production house of Bollywood.

Salman has truly put all his efforts in multiple areas for this movie. Apart from playing the lead character, he has penned the film’s story as well as has turned its producer. He is hell bent to make Veer a bigger project than rival Shah Rukh Khan’s hit, Om Shanti Om.

The staggering price offered is a sort of moral victory for Salman Khan as he is now considered the hottest stars of Bollywood in terms of market price overtaking Shah Rukh Khan by leaps and bounds.

Kambakkt ishq- Surpasses singh is kingg

Opening weekends have become a recent box office phenomena where the producers recover their investment. Some of the biggies that have done good of late include Om Shanti Om, Ghajini, Welcome and Singh is Kinng. Joining this list is yet another Akshay Kumar starrer Kambakhht Ishq. Not only has it surpassed Singh is Kinng on its opening day, but it also crossed the one day milestone set by Ghajini in some centres.

According to the box office data, Kambakkht Ishq has grossed around Rs 24.50 crore nett including paid previews over its first weekend. And according to the industry analysts, this is the second biggest first day in history while the first weekend was the fourth biggest in history.

This is despite the fact that Mumbai rains kept many people away on Saturday and Sunday. Delhi/UP and East Punjab is where the collections happened to be truly phenomenal.

While the numbers have fallen over the weekdays, the film should be a hit if not a superhit. I have seen the film, and though it’s not in the same class as Welcome, it’s not a sorry film either. It’s okay-dokay. Not truly a laugh-a-thon. And yes, the Akshay-Kareena chemistry does work here unlike what I had assumed after looking at the film promos. Watch the film for both the stars who make the most of the role given to them. If not for them, the film by any other actor would have failed to draw anyone.

It was Katrina Kaif’s birthday yesterday, the girl who made her debut in Bollywood with Kaizad Gustad’s Boom. Katrina will be celebrating her birthday this year with her family, she says, “I’m celebrating my birthday this year with my entire family, all my sisters who have flown down from all over, my mum who’s flown down from Chennai and my brother who’s a professional rock climber.” Last year’s birthday for Katrina was a disaster because of the famous Khan fight.We hope this birthday for beautiful Katrina is eventful.Happy belated birthday Katrina.
